Last Sunday Chris and I gave our talks in our home ward. My talk was about charity and service. Chris’ talk was about blessings, promises, and covenants. Next Sunday, June 5th, we will be set apart as missionaries to the Neuquen, Argentina mission. We will enter the Provo MTC on June 6th. We fly out to Argentina on June 13th.
It was great to get to see so many aunts, uncles and cousins on Sunday. We have a great family.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to go to Bountiful for a stake Days for Girls event. It was such a wonderful day! The spirit of the Lord was so strong there. I know that we all are known by our brother Jesus Christ, and He loves each of us. I believe that He is happy when we take the time to help those who are in need.
For me, Days for Girls has become a very spiritual experience. I feel close to my Heavenly Father as I sew for girls around the world. It fills a need that I have to create also.
But my discovery is that Ann Lewis is at least my third cousin! Maybe even closer, if the great grandfather is LeRoy Barker. Ann has been a major participant with Days for Girls in Utah.
